Laser Profiling
Laser profiling is one of the most flexible and cost effective material cutting processes available today. Since 1993 KJB Engineering has been one of the main subcontract laser cutters in Yorkshire and the north of England.
The main benefits of laser profiling are:
- No tooling is ever needed
- When set up correctly the cut edge should not require any de-burring or finishing
- Job set-up time is very quick
- Complicated shapes, etching and marking are all possible
- Can quickly change from one material to another
- Stainless steel can be cut using nitrogen to eliminate edge contamination
At KJB Engineering we use the latest post processing software, Amada Linea 5 and Radan 2009 R1 to ensure the best possible sheet utilisation, minimum sheet wastage and fastest possible nesting time.
Our standard sheet profiling capabilities are:
