Punch profiling when used for mass production of identical components is by far the quickest and most cost effective material profiling process available. KJB Engineering first commissioned a CNC turret punch in 2002 and has gradually built up an extensive tooling library and excellent reputation.

The main benefits of punch profiling are:

• Identical components can be produced very quickly.
• Once tooled up, the machine can run automatically for days on end.
• Small forms can be added to the components.
• Gang tools can be used to punch out multiple hole patterns.
• Auto indexing tools can operate at any angle.
• Punching uses considerably less electricity than lasers profiling, and does not require any gasses.

At KJB Engineering we use the latest Radan post processing software to ensure the best possible sheet and tool utilisation, minimum sheet wastage and fastest possible nesting time.
